I was told to be more aggressive
in my pottery class
that my sweetness would be a problem
here
I wanted to tear
off
my clothes
the costume I wore
and roam in my skin
I didn’t
Instead, I smiled big
for this may be
the first time
my charm
was disarmed
and unwanted
let this be lesson one
from my first pottery session
